Fire Services & Insurance

Fire protection for the Summer Village of Yellowstone is provided by Onoway Regional Fire Services through North West Fire Rescue, with mutual aid agreements in place with Lac Ste. Anne County. Yellowstone is part of the Alberta Beach Fire District.

Important Fire Insurance Reminder
Property owners may be responsible for the cost of fire department responses including grass fires, alarms, and structure fires. Residents should review their home insurance coverage and confirm that fire suppression and call-out costs are included.

Use of Municipal Reserves

The Summer Village allows winter storage of boat lifts, boat hoists, and pier sections on designated municipal reserve areas, but they must be removed by May 31 each year or they may be ticketed and removed.

Landscaping, sheds, RV storage, fire pits, fences, firewood storage, compost bins, or garbage on municipal reserves or other public property.

Community Safety Reminder

Residents are encouraged to secure their homes when away and report suspicious activity to the Parkland RCMP at 825-220-7267 or Barrhead RCMP at 780-674-4848. In an emergency, dial 911.
