The Summer Village of Yellowstone provides solid waste and compost collection services to help maintain a clean and environmentally responsible community.
Solid waste is picked up weekly on Monday mornings during the summer months from May to October and bi-weekly during the winter months from November to April.
Each property is provided with two containers, one for solid waste and one for compost items.
Compost pickup begins weekly from May to October. Please ensure your containers are out by 7:00 a.m. on collection days.
Large items and excessive waste can be taken to the Regional Landfill Site located on Highway 43 and RR35.
Landfill hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., closed on statutory holidays. The listed charge is $57.50 per tonne.
